Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Tuesday.
1) The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) announced that 6 companies will be included in Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) and industry group indices in its Q4 2019 indices maintenance, as of trading session on Sunday, Dec. 29, 2019.
2) Saudi Airlines Catering Company (SACC) renewed its in-flight catering agreement with Saudi Arabian Airlines Est. (Saudia) for 10 years for a value of SAR 12 billion.
3) Al Ahsa Development Co. said that following the capital hike approval, the company will issue 1 new share for every 0.809 share of Al Salam Medical Services Co. in a share swap deal to acquire Al Salam.
4) Arabian Aramco Total Services Company said in a bourse statement that it partially redeemed SAR 147 million worth of sukuk, representing 3.92% of the sukuk’s original face value (scheduled semi-annually).
5) The Saudi General Authority for Competition (GAC) approved on Monday the merger between Walaa Cooperative Insurance Co. and MetLife AIG ANB Cooperative Insurance Co.
6) HSBC Saudi Arabia announced in a bourse filing the end of suspension of subscription and redemption of HSBC MSCI Tadawul 30 Saudi ETF units upon its request.
7) Brent crude on Tuesday gained 14 cents to reach $66.53 per barrel whereas WTI Crude also increased 6 cents to reach $60.58/bbl.
