The Capital Market Authority (CMA) suspended trading on the units of HSBC MSCI Tadawul 30 Saudi ETF today, Dec. 22, the Kingdom’s market regulator said in a statement to Tadawul.

The suspension has been imposed following the request of HSBC Saudi Arabia, the fund manager , to rebalance the fund’s basket to the new index components, the statement added.

The statement further noted that the trading of the fund’s units will resume on Dec. 23.

In a separate statement, HSBC Saudi Arabia announced that subscription and redemption requests for HSBC MSCI Tadawul 30 Saudi ETF units will be suspended as of today.
