Saudi Arabia to inevitably boost manufacturing industry with future trends: Industry Minister

Bandar Alkhorayef, the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, said that the ministry should inevitably boost the national industry with future trends and digital solutions.

“Reinventing the manufacturing industry and the new digitalization trends come in line with the Kingdom’s population structure,” Alkhorayef said at the Future Factory Show in Riyadh and hosted by the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON).

Transforming manufacturing organizations will help classify Saudi Arabia amongst the most developed countries, the minister said, adding that “the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) together with the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources should undertake such transformation.”
