Prince Sultan Aviation Academy (PSAA), the training arm of Saudi Arabian Airlines Corp., has awarded a contract to US-based L3Harris Technologies, to provide a new A320 Reality Seven Full Flight Simulator (FFS) and Enhanced Flat Panel Trainer (EFPT), it said in a statement on Monday.

The contract, awarded at the ongoing Dubai Air Show, comes after a rigorous technical evaluation and competitive tender process.

The training solutions will be delivered and installed at the PSAA training center in Jeddah by mid-2020.

“L3Harris were able to demonstrate how they can support and advance our training offering with their industry-leading technology. We look forward to training our pilots on this cutting-edge device,” said Ismael S. Alkoshy, managing director, Prince Sultan Aviation Academy.
