Al Rajhi Capital tops Saudi brokerages list in October

Al Rajhi Capital has taken the lead as the top brokerage firm operating in Saudi Arabia for October 2019, data compiled by Argaam showed.

 

The brokerage accounted for 14.53 percent (SAR 17.91 billion) of total market transactions on the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) last month.

 

NCB Capital came on the second place, accounting for 9.86 percent (SAR 21.16 billion) of total trading last month, followed by Aljazira Capital (SAR 10.43 billion).

 

Samba Capital moved up to the fourth position with SAR 9.67 billion, while JP Morgan Saudi Arabia retreated from the sixth ranking to the 17th.

 

The combined trading value of brokerage firms decreased by around SAR 6.2 billion month-on-month to SAR 123.32 billion in October.

 

On the Nomu Parallel Market, Al Rajhi Capital also topped the list of brokerages operating in October, brokering up to SAR 56.7 million of total transactions on the parallel market.

 

Meanwhile, the number of brokerages working on exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in October dropped to 12, compared to September 2019.

 

Falcom Financial Services was the leading firm for the month, accounting for 99 percent (SAR 89.9 million) of total trading compared to the previous month.
