Crown Prince to decide on Saudi Aramco IPO launch: Energy Minister

Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resource, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, said on Wednesday that Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman will decide on the launch of Saudi Aramco's initial public offering (IPO).

 

"It will be the decision of Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman only and nobody else!" the minister said in his speech on the second day of the Future Investment Initiative (FII) 2019.

 

“The launch of the IPO of Saudi Aramco will happen soon and in a timely manner by an appropriate method with a right decision,” he added.

 

Earlier yesterday, it was reported that Saudi Aramco will list the IPO on Tadawul and will start trading from Dec. 11, 2019.
