Saudi Arabia's equities continued to rise for the third consecutive session on Sunday, driven by energy and banking stocks.
The benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) jumped 1.9 percent (145 points) to 7,783 points at 12.06 pm Riyadh time.
Blue chip SABIC gained 1 percent to SAR 91.40, while Saudi Kayan edged up 1 percent to SAR 10.
The banking index surged 2.8 percent. Al Rajhi, Alinma, NCB climbed 1.9 percent, 3.1 percent and 5.7 percent, respectively.
Alujain rose 4.4 percent to SAR 19.92, after the firm’s trading halt was lifted post-declaration of preliminary financial statements for the period ending June 30, 2019.
eXtra gained 0.7 percent to SAR 72.90 after it received an insurance claim worth SAR 24.2 million against the fire incident of Tahlia Store.
Insurer Enaya was the top gainer, rising 5.7 percent to SAR 8.50.
On the other hand, NCLE was the top decliner, falling 0.8 percent to SAR 25.55.
