The Saudi Space Agency has signed a letter of intent (LOI) with Russia’s State Space Corporation, Roscosmos, in the field of space and satellites, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The deal was signed between Roscosmos’ general director Dmitry Rogozin and Sultan bin Salman, chairman of the Saudi Space Agency.
The agreement also delved into the possibility of sending a Saudi astronaut to the International Space Station aboard a Russian piloted spacecraft.
