Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Monday.
1) Almarai Company reported a net profit after zakat and tax of SAR 1.5 billion for the first 9 months of 2019, an 8.6 percent year-on-year (YoY) decrease higher financing costs.
2) Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co.’s board of directors has recommended a capital hike through a SAR 300 million rights issue.
3) Middle East Specialized Cables Co. (MESC) has received a Jordanian court order on seizing the movable and immovable properties of MESC-Jordan.
4) Advanced Petrochemical Co. reported a net profit after zakat and tax of SAR 567 million in the first nine months of 2019, a rise of 2.5 percent year-on-year (YoY) on higher sales volumes.
5) Arabian Centres Co.'s board of directors has invited shareholders to attend an extraordinary general assembly meeting on Oct. 27.
6) Saudi Chemical Holding Co. has sold 1,642 fractional shares on Sept. 25, 2019 at SAR 26.6 per share for a total of SAR 43,677.
7) Sahara International Petrochemical Co. (Sipchem) signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Hoyer Middle East to further enhance the reach of its chemical products.
8) Brent crude on Monday remained unchanged at $58.37 per barrel whereas WTI Crude increased 5 cents to reach $52.86/bbl.
