Saudi expat remittances drop 5% in August

Remittance outflows by expatriates in Saudi Arabia dropped 5 percent year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 9.92 billion in August 2019, data issued by the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) showed.

 

When compared to the previous month, expat remittance outflows retreated by 13 percent, or SAR 1.54 billion in August.
