Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication Co.’s (GO) lawsuit against the Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) over the unified license has been postponed until Oct. 14, 2019, the firm said in a statement to Tadawul.
During the hearing on Monday, Sept. 30, the CITC’s representative was ordered to submit more documents to the court, the statement said.
There is no relevant financial impact, the statement added.
GO filed a lawsuit in August, seeking to reverse the CITC’s decision in May to reject the telco’s request for a unified license. The license allows operators to offer integrated telecom services including landline.
