Saudi Arabia to begin implementing professional firms’ regulation in March 2020

The Saudi Commerce and Investment Ministry announced that it will begin implementing the new professional companies’ regulation, effective from March 26, 2020.

 

The ministry tweeted that the total number of professional firms have 699 trade licenses, including 418 for engineering consultancy, 137 registered for legal consultancy, 60 for real estate evaluation, and 84 for accounting.

 

Earlier last week, the Saudi Cabinet approved the law pertaining to professional companies, including 29 clauses, which aims to develop the role of professional firms in Saudi Arabia.
