US drillers cut 14 oil rigs in week ending Sep. 20: Baker Hughes

U.S. energy companies cut 14 oil rigs in the week ending Sep. 20, bringing the total count to 719, General Electric Co.’s Baker Hughes energy services firm said in its closely followed report on Friday.

 

The gas rig count declined by five rigs to148 rigs for the week, compared to 186 gas rigs a year earlier.
