Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Russia's President Vladimir Putin discussed on Wednesday in a phone call ways to stabilize oil markets and shore up global economy.
The Russian president condemned the recent attacks on Saudi Aramco oil facilities, stating that they have targeted the Kingdom’s economic infrastructure, and affected the global oil supply, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
Putin also expressed his country’s readiness to take part along with international experts in the investigations.
On the other hand, Prince Mohammed highlighted the Kingdom’s keenness to launch an international probe into the attacks, adding that the move aims to reassure the international community of the procedures taken by Saudi Arabia.
Terrorist attacks on Saudi Aramco’s facilities in Abqaiq and Khurais on Saturday had led to a temporary production halt.
Nevertheless, Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman said Tuesday that Saudi Arabia’s oil supplies have returned to their levels prior to the terrorist attacks.
