Zahrat Al Waha for Trading Co. launched on Sept. 8 commercial operations of its new production line for manufacturing various sizes of preform, the firm said today in a bourse statement.
After a seven-day trial run, the firm expects an 11.6 percent increase in production capacity as soon as the commercial operations of the new line kick off, which is seen to reflect immediately on its financial results, it said.
With this new production line, Zahrat Al Waha will likely increase its share in the local plastics market, and bolster sales to meet domestic demand as well as exports.
Zahrat Al Waha signed in June an agreement with Husky Injection Molding Systems Co. to build a new production line for manufacturing various sizes of preform with accessories at a total value of SAR 14 million, Argaam previously reported.
