Saudi Arabia’s King Salman has appointed Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud as the new Minister of Energy, the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
The royal decree issued on Saturday relieved Khalid Al-Falih from his post as energy minister.
Osama Al-Zamil was named as deputy minister of industry and mineral resources, replacing Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Ali Al-Abdulkarim, according to a second decree.
Another decree appointed Prince Sultan bin Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al Saud as Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
