Mortgage loans provided to retail and corporate clients by commercial banks in Saudi Arabia saw a 22 percent year-on-year (YoY) increase to SAR 263.7 billion in Q2 2019, data issued by the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA) showed.
Loans to retail clients climbed 29 percent YoY to SAR 165.9 billion in Q2 2019, while corporate loans grew by 11 percent YoY to SAR 97.8 billion.
