Here are top 7 contracts in Saudi Arabia in August 2019

While the summer months are always considered to be slow for the market, however, top contractors have not shied away from signing on new deals in Saudi Arabia. Big names like McDermot, Larsen & Toubro, and Red Sea International to name a few have secured multi-million dollar contracts in the month of August.

 

Argaam takes a look at some of the important contracts that were signed in August in Saudi Arabia.

 

Saudi Aramco awards offshore EPCI contract to McDermott.

 

State-owned Saudi Aramco awarded McDermott International a contract to provide engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) of a production deck module (PDM) in the Hasbah gas field. The contract also included hook-up and modification works in Saudi Arabia's Karan fields located offshore in the Arabian Gulf.

NESR secures SAR 2.5 bln contracts in Saudi Arabia

 

Integrated energy services provider, National Energy Services Reunited Corp. (NESR), secured contracts worth up to SAR 2.5 billion in Saudi Arabia. The contracts were awarded for coiled tubing and N2, stimulation services and cementing services for a period of five years with possible extensions of up to two years with the National Petroleum Technology Company, a subsidiary of NESR.

 

KEC inks SAR 14 mln design contract for Madinah Gate

 

Knowledge Economic City (KEC) has signed the designs works contract for Madinah Gate project with the international project planning firm, IBI, at a total value of SAR 13.59 million. The 42-week contract stipulates that designs will be carried out in two phase - the first one will include general studies, preliminary designs and estimated costs, while the second phase will include the detailed designs, bids and executive plans.

 

Red Sea International unit inks SAR 56 mln contract with Expo 2020 Dubai

 

Red Sea International Co.’s fully-owned UAE subsidiary, Red Sea Housing Services Company Dubai (FZE), has signed a contract with Expo 2020 for a total value of SAR 56 million. The scope of the contract covers fabrication, supply and construction of numerous pre-manufactured and modularized structures as well as rental units which will cater to the visitors attending the event over a six-month period.

Saudi Arabia awards Jeddah water taxi feasibility study deal

 

A contract to carry out feasibility studies for the implementation of water taxi service in Jeddah was awarded to a private sector company, according to Osama Abdu, chairman of Jeddah Metro Company. "The water taxi is among the three major projects within our pipeline, which also include Obhur Suspension Bridge and the Corniche Tram," Abdu said. 

 

India’s L&T secures offshore jackets supply deal in Saudi Arabia

 

Indian oil and gas contractor, Larsen & Toubro Hydrocarbon Engineering Ltd. (LTHE), had announced that its consortium with EMAS AMC PTE Ltd. (a Subsea7 company), secured a contract from Saudi Aramco. The contract includes supplying 28 offshore jackets in Zuluf, Marjan, Safaniyah and Ribyan fields in Saudi Aramco.

 

Al Moammar signs SAR 68 mln contract with Tawuniya

 

Al Moammar Information Systems Co (MIS) had signed a five-year contract with Company for Cooperative Insurance (Tawuniya) at a total value of SAR 68.04 million. Under the contract, MIS will supply equipment as well as operating and maintenance software to the Saudi insurer.
