King Salman issues these royal decrees

Saudi Arabia’s King Salman has issued on Aug. 30 a royal decree to amend the name of Riyadh Development Authority to become the Royal Commission for the City of Riyadh, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

 

During a cabinet session, King Salman also issued the following royal decrees:

 

Establishing the Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence.

 

Establishing the National Center for Artificial Intelligence and the National Data Management Office, which are to be linked to the Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence.

 

Amending the name of the Ministry of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources into the Ministry of Energy.

 

Establishing the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources.

 

Appointing Bandar bin Ibrahim bin Abdullah Alkhorayef as Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources.

 

Appointing Fahd bin Mohammed Al-Issa as chief of the Royal Court.

 

Appointing Bandar bin Mohammed Al-Obayan as an advisor to the Royal Court.

 

Appointing Awwad bin Saleh Al-Awwad as head of the Saudi Human Rights Commission.

 

Appointing Majid bin Abdulraheem bin Salim Al-Ghanmi as deputy minister of Labor and Social Development for "Social Development”.

 

Amending the name of the General Auditing Bureau to become General Bureau for Auditing.

 

Appointing Mazen bin Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al-Kahmous as chief of the National Anti-Corruption Commission.

 

Appointing Abdullah bin Sharaf bin Jamaan Al-Ghamdi as director of the National Information Center.
