10 things to watch on Tadawul today

Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Tuesday.

 

1) Rabigh Refining and Petrochemical Company (Petro Rabigh) incurred net losses of SAR 52 million for the first half of 2019, versus net profit of SAR 531 million in year-earlier period due to the enactment of IFRS 16.

 

2) Herfy Food Services Co. reported a net profit after zakat and tax of SAR 88.9 million for H1 2019, a decline of 5 percent year-on-year (YoY) due to higher selling and marketing expenses.

 

3) National Commercial Bank’s (NCB) board of directors has recommended an 11 percent cash dividend for the first half of 2019, at SAR 1.1 per share, amounting to SAR 3.3 billion.

 

4) National Petrochemical Co. (Petrochem) posted a net profit after zakat and tax of SAR 371 million for the first half of 2019, a decline of 40.35 percent year-on-year (YoY) due to lower selling prices despite decreased zakat expenses.

 

5) Halwani Bros, producer of jams, deli meat and various food products, posted a net profit after zakat and tax of SAR 1.8 million for H1 2019, a plunge of 92.8 percent year-on-year (YoY).

 

6) Saudi Industrial Investment Group (SIIG) posted a net profit after zakat and tax of SAR 383 million for the first half of 2019, a decline of 26.35 percent year-on-year (YoY) due to lower profit share from managed projects.

 

7) Najran Cement Co. posted a net profit after zakat and tax of SAR 3.5 million for the first half of 2019, versus net loss of SAR 41.9 million a year earlier, driven by higher sales volumes and selling prices.

 

8) AlAhli REIT Fund (1) will pay a 3.25 percent cash dividend for the first half of 2019, at SAR 0.325 per unit, amounting to SAR 44.69 million.

 

9) Dallah Healthcare Co. posted a net profit after zakat and tax of SAR 50.5 million for H1 2019, a drop of 34.2 percent year-on-year (YoY).

 

10) Brent crude on Tuesday gained 33 cents to reach $64.04/bbl, while WTI crude also increased 31 cents to reach $57.18/bbl.
