Saud Qahtani Auction Co. has won new contracts in the Southern Province, in line with its expansionary strategy in the Kingdom, general manager Saeed AlQahtani said in a statement.

These auction projects, which include Abha, Khamis Mushait and Jizan, are slated to take place in Q3 2019.

“Contracts’ bidding and planning were finalized,” AlQahtani said, adding that “the pilot operations are expected to be launched in November.”

Last month, the Saudi firm started the auction project of Saudi Customs with Jeddah Islamic Port and Al Batha Border Crossing Post, manager Khalid Chouhani mentioned, adding that the auction project of King Abdul Aziz Port in Dammam will start this month.

Auction projects for integrated power plants and water treatment units were also finalized.

Also, the company launched the auction project of the Saline Water Conversion Corporation all over the Kingdom including 18 plants.

“The company’s plans were mapped out several years ago; and they are updated in line with the fourth industrial revolution,” CEO and MD, Faleh Saud Al Qahtani, said.
