Saudi Arabia’s National Water Co. (NWC) has inked SAR 2.6 billion worth of new contracts to undertake water and environment projects across the Kingdom, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) has reported, citing Mansour Abuthnain, Vice President for Projects and Technical Services.
NWC also finalized 91 water and environmental projects in H1 2019 at a total value of SAR 3.2 billion.
“These projects will serve around one million beneficiaries around the Kingdom, and will help increase the services coverage rate,” Abuthnain said.
“They will include a treatment plant, household interconnections, water networks, and strategic storage facilities,” he added.
