A total of 65,940 job seekers were offered job opportunities in 2018 through ‘Hafiz’ program, which supports Saudis in their job search endeavors, according to the Human Resources Development Fund’s (Hadaf) 2018 annual report.

Saudi women accounted for 58 percent (38,180 jobs) of those employed while men accounted for the remaining 42 percent (27,760 jobs).

Riyadh has registered the highest number of jobs (18,200 beneficiaries) followed by Makkah (15,800 beneficiaries).

The program includes supporting Saudis in obtaining sustainable employment, empowering their skills, and equipping them with the right resources to enter the labor market.

Hafiz program includes two initiatives; the first one targets young Saudis aged between 20 and 35 years and has supported 272,900 beneficiaries between 2011 and 2018, while the second targets those above 35 years old and has supported 264,800 beneficiaries across the Kingdom with the same period.
