Saudi taxis are now required to install 5 DVR cameras

The Saudi Public Transport Authority (PTA) has directed all taxi drivers to install five surveillance cameras, Makkah newspaper reported.

 

This decision falls under the new regulations of smart taxi applications and aims to improve public transportation-related services.

 

Taxis should install DVR cameras to keep six-month records.
