Dubai's Emaar Properties signed an agreement with Beijing Daxing International Airport to implement an AED 40.5 billion ($11 billion) project that includes residential and leisure facilities, UAE state news agency, WAM, reported on Monday.
The agreement was signed on the sidelines of a state visit by Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed to China, which started this week.
“The project will include residential and leisure facilities that will be completed in ten years,” said Mohamed Alabbar, chairman, Emaar Properties.
Emaar will open an office in Beijing on Monday, the report added.
