REDF to reveal waiting list beneficiaries in early 2020: official

The Saudi Real Estate Development Fund (REDF) will announce the names of final beneficiaries on the waiting lists in early 2020, Khalid Al-Amoudi, the general supervisor of REDF, said on Monday.

 

“The fund currently supports 12,000 new beneficiaries monthly and targets 15,000 applicants before the end of this year,” Al-Amoudi added during a press conference held by the housing ministry.

 

REDF seeks to finalize loans of over 500,000 applicants on the waiting list by 2020.

Citizens can obtain subsidized loans from 16 banks and financing firms in only 24 hours, Al-Amoudi stated.

 

Around 80,600 families across Saudi Arabia benefited from the Sakani program’s various residential options in H1 2019.
