Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Housing’s Sakani program has launched 11 new residential schemes in four provinces, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The new residential schemes will provide 9,698 free-of-charge land plots to beneficiaries, the Ministry of Housing said in a statement.
The ministry also said that infrastructure services including water, electricity, telecommunications, lighting and landscaping are being completed with other sites being allocated for public utilities.
Out of these schemes, seven will provide more than 7,995 land plots in Asir. Two other schemes will provide 348 land plots in Riyadh, the statement added.
Sakani program delivered 2,347 free-of-charge land plots to beneficiaries in June across the Kingdom.
