9 things to watch on Tadawul today

Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Tuesday.

 

1) The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) has continued to suspend trading on shares of Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication Co. (GO) until the company publishes its financial statements.

 

2) Savola Group’s board of directors has reappointed Sulaiman Al Muhaidib as board chairman for the new three-year term started on July 1, 2019.

 

3) Wafrah for Industry and Development Co.’s (Wafrah) shareholders have elected members of the board of directors for the upcoming three-year term starting on July 4, 2019.

 

4) Bupa Arabia For Cooperative Insurance Co.’s general assembly approved a 15 percent cash dividend for the fiscal year 2018, at SAR 1.5 per share, amounting to SAR 180 million.

 

5) The Capital Market Authority (CMA) has approved the request of Al Ahlia Insurance Company to cut capital from SAR 160 million to SAR 123 million.

 

6) Al Ahsa Development Co.’s (ADC) board of directors appointed Abdulrahman Balghonaim as chairman and Saad Al-Shammary as vice-chairman for the new three-year term that started yesterday.

 

7) Najran Cement Co. has agreed with Banque Saudi Fransi (BSF) on an early repayment of the loan installment amounting to SAR 15 million, due on Sept. 30, 2019.

 

8) Taiba For Investment Co.'s board of directors appointed Badr Al Badr as a board director, effective as of today, July 1, 2019.

 

9) Brent crude on Tuesday declined 9 cents to reach $64.97/bbl, while WTI crude also decreased 19 cents to reach $58.90/bbl.
