SEC subsidiary to study investment opportunities with international firms

Saudi Electricity Co.’s (SEC) subsidiary the National Electricity Transmission Co. has signed with several international companies a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to study cooperation and investment opportunities in electricity interconnection between the Kingdom and neighboring countries.

The study will also include future electricity grid projects in and outside Saudi Arabia, as well as establishing a joint company for electricity and networks investments, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
