Citizen Account deposits SAR 3.4 bln for eligible beneficiaries in October

Saudi Arabia deposited SAR 3.4 billion in the accounts of eligible beneficiaries in October.

The 71st installment was granted to 10.7 million beneficiaries, representing 75% of eligible households and individuals.

The total support value for beneficiaries of the "Citizen Account" in the 71 payments reached SAR 178.4 billion, including SAR 2.38 billion in retroactive amounts, as shown in the following table:

Recent royal directives extend the Citizen's Account program with added criteria for better support efficiency and wider reach. Registration continues, along with three more months of additional financial support for beneficiaries, until December 2023, according to data compiled by Argaam.

The step came in continuation of the royal directive issued in July 2022 to provide additional financial support to beneficiaries of the Citizen Account Program until 2022-end.

This is in addition to the royal directives in January and April 2023 to extend the program and provide additional support, as well as continue to open registration for it until July 2023 in accordance with the previously announced controls. The directive also extends the current Citizen's Account program and provides temporary additional support to beneficiaries for two more months until September 2023.
