Shams opens first diving center in Eastern Province

Tourism Enterprises Co. (Shams) started today, March 19, operating its diving center within the company's resort, Palm Beach Resort, marking the first diving center in the Eastern Province within a tourist resort, according to a statement to Tadawul.

The center came in partnership with the strategic partner, Saihat Divers Center, which is licensed by the Ministry of Sports and is a member of the Saudi Water Sports and Diving Federation as well as the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI), the company added.

This center came under a package of development and investment in projects that the company's management is working on implementing. This is to develop the tourist resort as one of the main tourist destinations in the region by attracting tourists and sponsoring marine sports in the region, in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 goals for the tourism and sports sectors, Shams said.
