Hewlett Packard to manage over 10 regional offices from Riyadh: Alrehaili

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) announced today, Feb. 8, the opening of its new regional headquarters in Riyadh, which will manage more than 10 offices in the Middle East, Mohammad Alrehaili, Managing Director, HPE Middle East.

Some of the regional countries include Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Egypt, Libya, Jordan and Lebanon.

Furthermore, Alrehaili stated that HPE has been operating in the Kingdom for more than 30 years and is part of the economy and digital transformation, indicating that its investments are diversified in joint ventures, expansions and manpower.

Elsewhere, he pointed out that the technology sector in Saudi Arabia is witnessing rapid growth, noting that the Minister of Communications and Information Technology confirmed that the market size amounts to $42 billion.

Moreover, the spending on technology in the Kingdom is rising, and customers have many options, said Alrehaili, noting that there are no current plans for manufacturing in Saudi Arabia and opportunities are being looked for continuously.

He explained that the semiconductor crisis affected all companies, but it is witnessing a significant improvement in recent times.

On the company's plans for dual listing, Alrehaili said there are no plans to list in the Saudi Exchange, adding that the expansion is by committing to the Saudi market.
