Zamil Industrial shareholders elect new board, appoints audit committee

Zamil Industrial Investment Co.'s shareholders approved electing members of the board of directors for the upcoming three-year term, starting May 1, 2022, during the extraordinary general meeting (EGM) held on April. 21.

The new board includes Abdulla Al Zamil (executive), Sattam Al Zamil (non-executive), Bander Al Zamil (non-executive), Khalid Al Fuhaid (independent), Mohammad Al Harbi (non-executive), Adel Al Ghassab (independent) and Saud Al Sulaiman (independent).

Shareholders also approved the formation of the audit committee for the same term, as well as determined tasks, work procedures, remuneration for its members, and their membership period. 

The audit committee includes Mohammad Al Harbi, Chairman (non-executive), Khalid Al Fuhaid, Member (independent) and Sattam Al Zamil, Member (non-executive).

They also approved the board and auditor reports, as well as financial statements for 2021. In addition, board members were discharged for any liabilities for 2021, and related-party transactions were endorsed.
