Alandalus announces partial reopening of commercial centers

Alandalus Property Co. announced today the partial reopening of all its malls and commercial centers and those of its affiliates and sister companies as of April 29, 2020 until May 13, 2020, from 9am to 5pm.

The company said in a bourse filing that the move came in response to the directives of the government to partially lift the Kingdom-wide curfew (except in Makkah) to contain the COVID-19 outbreak and allow the resumption of certain economic activities from 9am to 5pm for the period from April 29-May 13, 2020.

Entertainment activities, cinemas, salons, restaurants and coffee shops will however remain closed during the period, in accordance with the government’s guidelines and precautionary measures.

The company will disclose any developments in due course.

On March 16, the company announced temporary closure of all its commercial centers until further notice.
