Arabian Cement Co. reported a net profit of SAR 160.1 million in 2024, an increase of 15% from SAR 139.6 million in the year-earlier period.

This growth was buoyed by a rise in the parent company’s average selling prices, a decline in the cost of goods sold, reduced selling and distribution expenses, an increase in the company's share of profits from associate companies, and lower finance costs.

The fourth-quarter net earnings declined 4.6% to SAR 31.27 million, compared to SAR 32.78 million in Q4 2023.

 

On a quarterly basis, net earnings fell 31.7% from SAR 45.79 million in Q3 2024.

 

Total shareholders’ equity, after minority interest, reached SAR 2.56 billion by the end of 2024, down from SAR 2.57 billion a year earlier.
