Saudi Arabia will begin construction works at NEOM project within a few months, Nazmi Al-Nasr NEOM city's chief executive officer told the Saudi Press Agency.

 

“Since the announcement of NEOM Project, work has been going on to achieve what has been planned for. We are keen to carry out all the steps in an integrated fashion," Al-Nasr added.

 

"During the coming few months, we will begin to move to the sites in NEOM and begin construction works, which will be followed by important and sensitive stages,” he said.

 

In January, NEOM Founding Board, chaired by Crown Prince and Vice President of Saudi Cabinet, Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, approved NEOM Bay’s masterplan - the first urban area to be developed in the mega project, Argaam reported.
