Middle East Healthcare Co. (MEAHCO) said the Saudi German Hospital in Dammam was 84 percent complete as on March 31, 2019.

“The project is expected to be completed by June 6, 2019,” MEAHCO said in a bourse statement on Wednesday.

There is no change in the project costs, MEAHCO added.

Actual work on the project began on Dec. 7, 2016.

SGH Dammam is planned as a multispecialty tertiary care hospital with a capacity of 150 beds and 100 outpatient clinics.

In December 2016, MEAHCO awarded a SAR 336.4 million, 30-month contract for the construction of a Saudi German Hospital in Dammam to International Hospital Construction Co.
