SABIC signs construction contracts with 9 companies in Saudi Arabia

Saudi Basic Industries Corp (SABIC) signed contracts with nine construction companies, out of which eight are based in the Kingdom, the petrochemicals giant said in a statement on Wednesday.

The contracts, signed in Jubail, are designed for Saudi site projects as part of the transformation journey with respect to KSA site projects procurement and execution, the statement said.

The objectives of the contracts include enhancing Environment and Human Health, Safety, and Security (EHSS) culture, more agility in site projects procurement and execution, and enriching local content in SABIC KSA site projects.

“By finding new opportunities for small and medium enterprises (SMEs), enabling local investors and attracting global investments, SABIC will enhance EHSS cultural operation excellence and provide opportunities for downstream growth across the Kingdom,” Eng. Awadh Al-Maker, executive vice president, Shared Services at SABIC, said.

6) Central Gulf Eng. & Tech. Sev (Zain Thermal)

7) Abdullah Faleh Al-Dossary

8) Specialized Industrial Services Co Ltd.

9) The Third Chemical Engineering Construction Co of China (TCC)
