Prince Mohammed discusses bilateral cooperation with India

Crown prince Mohammed bin Salman discussed yesterday in Buenos Aires with India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi investment opportunities through the Public Investment Fund (PIF), Saudi press agency (SPA) reported.

They also discussed increasing Indian exports to Saudi Arabia.

As for Saudi oil exports to India, the Crown Prince discussed Saudi’s willingness to supply the Asian country with all its needed oil and petroleum products.

Saudi Aramco’s investment in Indian refineries was also reviewed, especially the large refinery on the western coast of India, as well as the crude oil storage.

The two leaders talked about investment in solar energy through the Soft Bank Vision Fund and through Saudi companies that will build solar energy projects.

Military localization and cooperation in military manufacturing were also raised in the discussion, in addition to reviewing the accomplishments of their bilateral cooperation during the previous two years.  

The two states reviewed opportunities to export Saudi non-oil products to India, and ways to develop bilateral trade through sustainable arrangements, especially in strategic commodities such as Saudi fertilizers as well as promoting the exchange of investment in the industrial sector.
