Saudi Aramco to raise production at Khurais field
State oil giant Saudi Aramco has announced that the Khurais oil field’s production will reach 300,000 barrels per day (bpd) by the end of 2018.
“We have 12 million bpd of sustained capacity, backed by one of the largest and high-quality reserve in the world. Khurais oil field maintains potential project, with 300,000 bpd coming on stream by the end of the year,” said Aramco CEO and President Amin Nasser.
He was speaking on the sidelines of the Future Investment Initiative (FII) 2018, which started today in Riyadh and will go on till Oct.25, 2018.
The CEO further said: “We have a lot of projects going on in Zuluf, Marjan, and Berri field developments. So we keep investing in maintain potential.”
