The number of licenses granted to foreign and domestic companies rose by 90 percent to 499 year-on-year in third quarter 2018, according to Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA).

"The increase in the number of investments in the Kingdom reflects the qualitative leap enhancing the diversification of its economy," state-run SPA quoted SAGIA's deputy governor for investor services and consultations Ibrahim bin Saleh Al-Suwail as saying.
