Russia is setting up President Vladimir Putin's visit to Saudi Arabia after he received an invitation from Saudi King Salman, Russian TASS news agency reported, citing Deputy Foreign Minister, Mikhail Bogdanov.

The visit will take place at a time depending on Putin's schedule, Bogdanov added.

King Salman invited Putin to visit the Kingdom during an official visit to Russia in October 2017.

On Thursday, Russia said that Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will hold talks with his Saudi counterpart Adel Al-Jubeir in Moscow on August 29, TASS added.
