Jubail United Petrochemical Co. plans to shut down its 700,000 ton/year capacity monoethylene glycol (MEG) plant for a rescheduled maintenance, starting end of March, ICIS reported, citing unnamed sources.

 

The maintenance process will continue for 23 days.

 

Jubail United Petrochemical is owned by Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (75 percent), Public Pension Agency (15 percent) and General Organization for Social Insurance (10 percent).
