Alujain shareholders elect audit committee, appoint external auditors

Alujain Corporation’s extraordinary general assembly elected on Sunday Aziz Al Qahtani, Saleh Al Shenaifi, Jassim Al Rumaihi, and Mohammed Al Ibrahim as members of the audit committee for the current three-year term ending June 14, 2020, the company said in a bourse statement.

Shareholders approved appointing Ernst & Young as external auditor to audit the company’s financials for Q2 2017.

PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) was selected to audit Alujain financials for Q3 & Q4 2017, fiscal year 2017, and Q1 2018, the statement added.

Shareholders also approved amending the company’s bylaws according to the new corporate law.
