Saudi Arabia’s Public Transport Authority (PTA) has invited American firms to participate in public-private partnership (PPP) projects, chairman Rumaih Al Rumaih told Argaam on Monday, on the sidelines of the Saudi-US CEO Forum.

Projects will be offered under the PPP scheme not only to raise funding, but also to transfer technology and create new job opportunities.

The new investments include public transport projects in Makkah, Madina, and Jeddah, as well as trains in other cities, Al Rumaih said.
