Etihad Etisalat (Mobily), Saudi Arabia’s second largest telecommunication operator, has appointed and promoted seven Saudi nationals to key positions as the company seeks to fortify its executive team, local newspapers reported.

 

The company has promoted Mohamed Motreb al-Badrani, who joined the company in 2007, to first chief executive of the network engineering unit.

 

Yaroub al-Saigh, who has experience in marketing and strategy development, has been appointed as general director of marketing and selling of Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) which targets home clients under the trade name “eLife.”

 

Khalid al-Hadlaq has been appointed as general director of the corporate, military and government sales sector. He has previously worked as project and product development manager in several companies, including Microsoft, for the past 14 years.

 

Fahd Nahi al-Hazmi has been named as general director of the fiber-optic network operating unit.

 

Mobily has also appointed Mohamed Abudllah Bawazir as general director of operations in the business sector.

 

Abdullah al-Ghadir, who joined Mobily in 2007, has been promoted as general director of maintenance and network operations; while Ali al-Baqmi has become the general director for network infrastructure.
