Ascom Network Testing said it won a three-year managed services contract from Zain Saudi to improve the latter’s inbound and outbound roaming services.
 
Under the three-year contract, Ascom will help Zain offer value-added services, applications, and perform regression testing and troubleshooting. 
 
To enable Zain Saudi to test and monitor its services and international roaming, Ascom deployed its TEMS Monitor Master system. 
 
Ascom’s solution allows Zain to monitor customers when using different social media channels inside or outside the kingdom in order to overcome problems associated with roaming services, said Sultan Abdulaziz Al Deghaither, senior network director at Zain Saudi.
 
This allows Zain to monitor performance of its applications, including Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, and YouTube around the clock.
