Astra mining signs SAR 90m contracts for constructing the Calcium carbonates project:

Astra mining company (Astra Industrial Group AIG affiliated co.) announced today on tadawul signing SAR 90m contract for constructing the calcium carbonates project to produce quicklime {CaO} and hydrated lime {Ca(OH)2}

The contract is executed by two Swiss companies along with the international building systems factory (100% owned by AIG).

The trial run is scheduled to start in the second half of 2014 and the project is to go on stream in Q1 of 2015 with expected annual profits of SAR 17m of which AIG’s share is SAR 10m.
