Saudi Ceramics expects production cost to rise 2% on fuel price hike

Saudi Ceramic Co. (Saudi Ceramics) said the recent fuel price adjustment is likely to lead to a 2% increase in direct and indirect production costs.

The financial impact will appear starting the first quarter of 2025, according to a statement to Tadawul.

 

To mitigate the impact, the company is working on implementing its plans to reduce costs and raise production and operational efficiency, the statement added.

 

According to data available on Argaam, Saudi Ceramic recently received two notifications from Saudi Arabian Oil Co. (Saudi Aramco) and Natural Gas Distribution Co. (NGDC) on adjustments to the prices of fuel products used in production processes, effective from Jan. 1, 2025.
