Saudi Cement: Aramco’s fuel price hike to raise production costs by 8%

Saudi Cement Co. received a notice from Saudi Arabian Oil Co. (Saudi Aramco) on the price adjustment of fuel products used in plant operations, effective from Jan. 1.

In a statement to Tadawul, the cement producer said that the financial impact of this change is estimated to be an 8% increase in production costs.

 

The company will work to study ways to soften the financial impact of this price adjustment on its financial results, the statement added.

 

Saudi Cement also noted that the related financial impact is expected to start appearing in its financial results for the first quarter of 2025.
